This week the Brown School student council will be leading a student-planned fundraiser to help kids who are struggling right now with cancer.  All monies raised will be donated to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  Since we are thinking that Brown School can help change their situation by giving, the student council is calling this fundraiser (are you ready for this?):  BE THE CHANGE.

Brown School is going to use our CHANGE to make the CHANGE!  We will be collecting change for one whole week, starting tomorrow, Monday, February 6.  Student Council will continue this leading up to Valentine’s Day, and send our collection to St. Jude’s as a school-wide act of kindness in honor of Valentine's Day.

The change drive will start on Monday and run every day next week.  So round up all of the loose change in your whole house!  Student Council has built in some fun along the way, and so our days will be as follows:

MONDAY:  PENNY Pride:  Dress in Saint Joe Gear (collecting as many pennies as you have!!)

TUESDAY:  NICKEL Night Time:  Dress in PJs (Collecting as many nickels as you have)

WEDNESDAY:  DUOs and DIMES:  Twin dress with a friend! (Collecting as many dimes as you have)

THURSDAY:  Kindness Quotes and QUARTERS: Wear your clothing that has kindness quotes on it!

(Collecting as many quarters as you have)

FRIDAY:  BUCKS for the BEACH:  Dress for the beach with beach hats, cool shorts over leggings, Hawaiian shirts over sweatshirts, etc.! (ALL the dollar bills!!)
