Popcorn Friday!

• Lego Night is coming up!  Join us on February 22nd from 5:30-7:00 for a Lego-filled evening.  We will have build stations, speed build contests, tower challenges, door prizes, and more.  If you are interested in helping out, we can use volunteers during lunchtime builds and at the evening event.  Signup at the link below.

• PTO Meeting: Join us Tuesday, February  21 at 7pm for our February Brown PTO Meeting! Come catch up on everything your PTO has been doing, and help us make plans for the rest of the school year. With a student at Brown, every family is a member of our PTO. Children are always welcome. We will also have the option to meet virtually on Google Meet.

• Family Science Night:  Save the date for the return of Family Science Night at Brown on Tuesday, March 14! 
• Brown School Yearbook:  Pre-Order your 2022-2023 Brown School Yearbook online at the link below. The cost is $13 and the yearbook will be finished in May. 
• Girls on the Run Information:  Girl registration is open for Girls on the Run! The season starts the week of 2/27/23 and ends with a 5K on 5/19/23. GOTR is for girls in grades 3rd-5th and practices will be held after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym until 5:30pm.  If you would like to learn more, please email Robin Lawrence at rel3414@gmail.com.  To sign up your participant or sign up to coach please use the link below.

Math- we will continue Unit 4: Multiplying Multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm. We will start working on Long-Division using the partial-quotient algorithm.

Science- we will continue working on our Unit: Chemical Magic!

Word Study- we will start UNIT 13: Verb Suffixes -en, -ize, -ify
